ILEC Preparation Courses
The International Legal English Certificate (ILEC) is a high-level qualification that will help students demonstrate that they have the language skills for a successful career in International Law. For more information on ILEC please refer to.
Our preparation course is open to students at and above the Upper-Intermediate level. It is an ideal course for law students or practicing legal specialists who are:
- Seeking employment in an international commercial law environment
- Intending to study law where the course includes significant English language content, either in their own country or abroad
- Learning English as part of a training program
Goals:
- To familiarise students with the exam format and different types of exercises
- To introduce exam terminology
- To practice all types of exercises
Duration:
varies from 30 to 198 academic hours depending on the initial level of students' language skills.
Instructors:
Preparation courses are taught by staff (all holders of Cambridge ESOL certificates) with many years of teaching experience.
Study materials:
Our preparatory courses only use study materials published in the U.K. and designed specifically for ILEC exam preparation.
